Every story starts somewhere. Ours started in a prop closet.

In a high school film class, two kids found themselves filming project in there.

What started as messing around during classes became something neither of them expected.

Today, Prop Closet Media Group is an independent production company built by a growing team of young filmmakers with stories worth telling.

What if the best way to make a statement is to never say it outright?

We create original films, narrative PSAs, and unconventional media that explore the overlooked issues young people face every day.

Our approach is simple. Entertain first. Make you think after.

We believe the stories that stay with you are the ones that you have experienced but cannot articulate.

And sometimes, you don’t realize what you’ve watched until it’s over.

We believe internships should be about learning, not free labor.

It started with an internship that wasn't what it promised.

Our founder, Bardia, walked in hoping to learn a specific department. Instead, he found himself doing everything but that. A task he was told would be a one-time favor became the same repetitive work, day after day. He wanted to speak up, but feared getting in trouble or losing the opportunity.

He never forgot that feeling.

That's why the PCMG Production Internship Program exists.
